Schaumburg Auto Body shop has been proudly serving Schaumburg and the surrounding areas for almost four decades, and has become a household name in the community in that time. Mike Leason started the business in 1979, when the body shop was located at 1100 Lunt Ave, Schaumburg, its very first home.

In those early years, Ed wore numerous hats: he was the estimator, the secretary, the painter and the car washer, only to purchase the business from Mike in 1983. After a single year, Ed introduced two new team members, slowly growing the body shop and its reputation. Schaumburg Auto Body has always been focused on their greatest asset – the employees.

Once 1985 rolled in, the repair center outgrew its first home on Lunt Ave and Schaumburg Auto Body started construction in a new location to expand their presence. It was June 1st, 1986 when Ed officially moved into the current location.

One of the pillars of their success is their impeccable customer service, however, this community focused collision center truly shines in its passion for quality vehicle repair. In fact, in 1990 they became the first Lexus approved body shop in the entire Chicagoland area, a reflection of their expertise.

In 2017, Ed decided it was time to retire, which is when TechniCraft Automotive Group stepped in. To this very day, Ed still gladly takes part in certain business processes, from marketing to customer relationships.
